Pipeline
When flying along a pipeline, MetScan V1 can use its innovative “1D Roll-Axis Sweep” function to effectively expand coverage around the pipeline. Combined with its high detection frequency of 50 Hz, this produces a dense belt-shaped CH4 data point cloud.
MetScan’s unique signal processing algorithms reduce both false negatives and false positives.
Users can not only generate multiple intuitive pipeline inspection maps on SSI but also quickly produce detailed inspection reports, supporting efficient work reporting.

Site/Pad, Station & Plant
A UAV equipped with MetScan V1 can take off and hover outside the boundary of a gas wellsite or facility (via manual flight, waypoint flight, or automated dock-based flight), without entering the site. MetScan automatically scans for potential methane leaks in the area with high precision and generates multiple intuitive and accurate 2D/3D methane distribution heatmaps on the SSI software.
With its ultra-stable 3-axis gimbal and telephoto camera (300mm equiv.), MetScan can precisely and steadily target small components such as valves, flanges, and gauges from >100m, enabling rapid leak point verification.
High-Rise Building
Multi-Glass Penetration
Tested with Common Glass Types
Detection Limit <7% LEL
Alert Well Before Disaster Could Happen
In addition to scanning outdoor gas risers with ease, MetScan V1 can detect indoor gas leaks from tens of meters away, even through multiple layers of glass. Its practical detection limit is typically <7% LEL (based on a 2 m kitchen depth), providing ample time for follow-up actions.
